FYI, just posted a new inspirational thought...
This is my prayer for you:
"Comfort on difficult days
Smiles when sadness intrudes
Rainbows to follow the clouds
Laughter to kiss your lips
Sunsets to warm your heart
Hugs when spirits sag
Beauty for your eyes to see
Friendships to brighten your being
Faith so that you can believe
Confidence for when you doubt
Courage to know yourself
Patience to accept the truth
Love to complete your life!"

I love the new blog. Blessings for much success with your books. I have written several children's books as well for kids dealing with serious illness. I love that they can read about characters that are going through similar situations. Hopefully a publisher will feel the same way. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and inspiration.
Terri
Thanks Teri, I think the concept of your books is fantastic!! I am currently writing another book dealing with that same issue you speak of. However, I got a third of the way through and developed "writer's block", ugh!! Still praying on it :-)
Thanks for joining my blog. Looking forward to your input ;-)
Hi! I've been noticing (and enjoying) your posts on the Amazon forum over past weeks while preparing to publish my eBook. It's nice to see you out there, spreading the good word. (And I love your son's illustrations on your blog. He has quite a talent!)
Since you asked to hear from authors of Christian non-fiction, I wanted to let you know that my eBook just came out last week. It's called: THE HOLY SPIRIT: Amazing Power for Everyday People.
If you check it out, I'd be interested to hear what you think.:-)

Susan ~ Question: Do you have your book in print form?
Your book sounds like a great book for me and my study/prayer partner to read together. Would like to purchase a couple of copies.
Please let me know! Thanks :-)

Hello again :-) Good to hear back from you! LOVED your recent post about that phone call you got! Somebody out there is noticing how well you're doing and wants in on it. :-)
To answer your questions about my book on the Holy Spirit:
Like you, I'm going completely green so there's no print version. It really does seem to be the wave of the future. I'm already hearing back from people who are reading the book on their Kindles and other electronics with those free Kindle apps. Love it!
And yes--the book is designed for individual or group study. I've already heard from one reader who is going to use it with the Bible Study group she leads. Another reader wrote that he is reading a portion aloud to his wife every day, then they talk about the questions it prompts. So, it sounds like it could be the kind of book that you and your friend could enjoy studying and talking about together.
Meanwhile, back to your books...I'm so glad to see you getting those great original covers out there. I hope they will help attract many readers who will be blessed by your work.

I was just thinking of you and an idea came to me for your books. Maybe you've already thought of it, but I'll send it to you just in case.
Have you ever thought about doing companion workbooks to go along with your children's books? I was just thinking they might lend themselves really well to children's Sunday School lessons or even make a good discussion guide for parents who read your books with their kids or in kids' book groups. You think?

Hi there Susan!
Thanks for letting me know about the info on your book. I will download a copy to my Kindle. Looking forward to reading it. And as far as my books, they won't be green for too long...I plan on creating the print version of them once all of the inside illustrations are complete. Many people have been requesting the print version, especially with churches. :-)
Your idea is great!! I thought of something similar for my books. Not sure if you have had an opportunity to read my books. At the conclusions, they include a quick "Storybook Lesson" and "Thinking Corner" but to expand that into a workbook is definitely something I'd be interested in developing. Thanks for that concept.
If you haven't had the opportunity to read my books, would love for you to read and review them. I currently have 4 in the Kindle store for .99 cents each.
Have you joined my Blog? Would also love for you to become a member or follow by email.
Thanks,
