New Bible Verse ~ Easter Sunday, April 8th

HAPPY EASTER!
~He Has Risen~

In celebration of Easter Sunday, I am posting three new Bible verses as of today, April 8th...Have a great week!

Romans 1:4 (NLT)
4 And He was shown to be the son of God when He was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 11:25 (NIV)
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.

Romans 6:8-11 (ESV)
8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him. 9 We know that Christ being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death He died He died to sin, once for all, but the life He lives He lives to God. 11 So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

God Bless!

Happy 'GOOD FRIDAY' to You!

I wish you a happy 'GOOD FRIDAY'...the anniversary of Jesus' death.

Why is it such a joyous occasion to celebrate the death of Jesus do you ask? Because Good Friday is the day that Christians celebrate the day that Jesus was crucified and died once for our sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring us to God. Jesus was put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit. (1 Peter 3:18)

I will leave you with a couple more Bible verses to ponder on this 'GOOD' day...

"He Himself bore our sins" in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by His wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24 NIV)

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NIV)

BRAIN TEASER of Biblical Proportions - Part II

BRAIN TEASER!
(Part II)

Out of 66 books of the Bible (well I think 56 without the double and triple books), the names of 22 books of the Bible are "hidden" in the paragraph below. This one is a little more difficult than the previous 'Brain Teaser' that was posted on the blog back on Oct 1st of last year. If you would like to try the first Brain Teaser before attempting this one, click HERE!

Now for Brain Teaser Part II. How many can you find in the paragraph below? Remember there are 22 hidden in all...

One man from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Roy Clark studied it while playing his banjo. Elaine Victs mentioned it in her column once. One woman judges the job to be so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help calm her nerves. There will be some names that are really easy to spot … that’s a fact. Some people will soon find themselves in a jam, especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. The truth is, from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or scholar to see some of them at the worst. Something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have. Those able to find all of them will hear great lamentations from those who have to be shown. One revelation may help, books like Timothy and Samuel may occur without their numbers. And punctuation or spaces in the middle are normal. A chipper attitude will help you compete. Remember, there are 22 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in this paragraph.
